I’m sure everyone involved with Portsmouth Football Club are as excited as we are TL about the imminent takeover of Pompey by the Pompey Supporters Trust.

Yesterday the news was announced that administrators PKF have signed the sale agreement enabling the Trust to push on and complete the purchase of the club for the city!

Next step is for PKF to appear in court to push the sale of Fratton Park stadium to the trust and completing the purchase finally ending the saga and banishing Balram Chainrai for good.

Below is our short interview with Ashley Brown, board member of the Pompey Supporters Trust recorded on this great day for the club.

Ashley has lived in the Portsmouth area all of his life and work’s locally for IBM , born at the tail end of the sixties his mum first took him to Fratton Park around 1971.
