Simon Tier the Express FM presenter will be setting off on a 1000 mile bike ride on Sunday 19th August in aid of Brain Tumour Research. 

Simon’s journey will take him and four other riders cycling the epic journey from Land’s End to John O Groats, Just over 1000 miles in 12 days.

Simon’s best friend was diagnosed with a brain tumour and this is the inspiration for the fund-raising trip.

Team Locals will be posting exclusive pod casts of Simon’s journey as he completes each day over the 12 day journey. We will bring you Simon’s news each day including some video blogs the highlights or challenges of the day for you to all follow his progress.

Simon has said It costs £2740 per day to run the Brain Tumour research centre in Portsmouth and this is my fundraising target. However, this has been surpassed and we on target to raising around £5,000 so far!
