Bring on Blue Day 2017! On Friday 5th May, schools and businesses in Portsmouth will don blue clothes, wigs, and face paint to raise funds for local charity the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.

Blue Day celebrates the city and Portsmouth Football Club. Whether you’re a Pompey fan or not, get involved, go blue, and raise funds! Every penny goes straight to the trust.

It’s easy and fun to be a part of the fundraising celebration — do a sponsored, well, anything you like!

Last year’s Blue Day helped the family-run charity smash its one-million pound target for research into the rare child/teenage bone cancer, Osteosarcoma.

The Portsmouth-based charity was established in 2004 in memory of 15-year-old Tom Prince.

Tom’s family are continuously fundraising at a local level, but also need to expand to a wider audience to increase awareness and support for this rare cancer. Last year, around 80 schools and businesses took part in the big day.
