Susan Hill’s acclaimed ghost story, The Woman in Black, comes to life in Stephen Mallatratt’s stage adaptation at Portsmouth’s New Theatre Royal this March and April.

The dramatic tale is celebrating its 27th year on the West End, and now embarks on a major UK tour, bringing its haunting atmosphere, illusion, and horror to Portsmouth.

A lawyer obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a Woman in Black engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul.
