Fat Face move into new Portsmouth business park
International clothing brand Fat Face have moved into the first unit at Portsmouth City Council’s new Dunsbury Park business site in Havant.
Dunsbury Park is a major new 45-acre industrial and distribution business park being built on council-owned land next to Junction 3 of the A3(M).
The Dunsbury Park project is expected to provide up to 3,500 jobs.
Councillor Donna Jones, Leader of Portsmouth City Council, said: “This commercial development is a big part of the entrepreneurial approach that we’re taking to the running of the city.
“We’re delighted to welcome Fat Face to Dunsbury Park and we look forward to working with more new tenants in the future.
“This is a really good example of how we can use council assets to generate income, strengthen the local economy and boost jobs. The rental income generated by this scheme can be used to fund vital council services in Portsmouth.”
Dunsbury Park offers bespoke facilities on a built-to-suit basis, from 20,000 square feet to 200,000 square feet.
Portsmouth City Council have planning permission to develop 665,000 square feet of warehouse, manufacturing, and office space, and the site also has provision for hotel and conference facilities totalling 60,000 square feet.
Dunsbury Park is serviced by a new link road directly funded by Portsmouth City Council and the Solent Local Enterprise Partnership.
Fat Face have taken up a pre-let unit of 80,000 square feet with a 40,000 square feet expansion option.
