Located on the seafront overlooking the Solent, the Royal Marines Museum is an award-winning museum which tells the story of the globe-trotting exploits of the Marines and the fierce battles they’ve taken part in, including the Battle of Trafalgar in 1905 and D-Day during World War Two. Visitors of all ages can experience the conditions of jungle warfare, learn how one becomes a Marine, and enjoy hands-on activities and interactive displays.
