The Tenth Hole is a buzzing little tearooms on Southsea Seafront, which offers scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, and delicious cakes! They’re also adjoined by a nine hole golf course!

The tearooms is run by a team of enthusiastic and energetic staff, (all with a passion for all things cake-shaped!) led by wife and husband team Lucy and Bill. They’ve been at the helm for nearly five years now after refurbishing the site back in January 2014 — giving the bustling tearooms a new lease of life.

The tearooms itself has been in existence for the last 30 years, and the pitch and putt was founded back in 1914 making it the oldest pitch and putt course in the world!

The Tenth Hole are proud to play an important role in our local community, entertaining a number of regulars who come back time and time again, as well as welcoming lots of new faces who arrive daily. Their breakfasts and cakes draw people in come rain or shine.

Much of the tearooms ingredients are sourced locally. All About Tea, Bransbury Park Butchers, O’ Hagans, and Portsmouth Fruit & Flower are all working partners. The Tenth Hole’s compact kitchen is always busy with three full time bakers constantly churning out cakes and coming up with new, delicious additions to the cabinet display.

The Tenth Hole also have a  penchant for fundraising and have been involved in climbing mountains, running marathons and more in aid of Portsmouth’s local Macmillan Cancer Support Team. In 2013 alone they raised a whopping £12,000 in total!

Lucy, Bill and the team focus on excellent customer service and will always greet you with a smile — nothing is too much trouble.
