Pompey in the Community / The Vet Partnership Promo Film
We’ve been lucky to be working with the amazing team from Pompey in the Community for some time now. The organisation is one of our chosen charity media partners and we just love creating content for them to highlight the great work they do for the community.
This year Pompey in the Community teamed up with new Portsmouth veterinarian practice The Vet, based in North Harbour.
To celebrate the collaboration between the two we were tasked with creating a short, humorous film that would introduce the collaboration to both entities audiences.
Using old faithful Portsmouth Football Club mascot Nelson the dog, we set about planning a one day shoot at The Vet practice, utilising their building, staff, and props.
The story follows Nelson the dog attending The Vet Portsmouth following a training ground accident with the Portsmouth FC first team. Nelson is welcomed into The Vet practice and assessed by one of the branch vets before heading off for treatment to mend his injured leg.
All footage was captured in high resolution broadcast quality digital codec and edited in-house at Team Locals Media. Colour grading and sound design was also created by our team.
Someone once said: “Never work with animals or children”, however on this occasion we can confirm that all animals involved in the filming process, including Nelson himself, were impeccably behaved.
