Authentic French Market at Palmerston Road Southsea

Expect and array of local and regional cheeses, freshly baked bread, patisserie products, olives and dried fruits, handbags, jewellery, provencal soaps, and much more.

This Friday (30 August) the France at Home authentic French market will be visiting Palmerston Road, Southsea for the first time. France at Home is a well established team, having initiated their first French Markets as long ago as 1994.

The French traders from various departments of Normandy will be on hand to answer your questions and present their goods.

There will also be art and crafts stalls selling retro art prints, classic French advertising, hand crafted gifts, and fashion and accessories items.

Councillor Steve Pitt, Cabinet Member for Culture and City Development, said: "Following the recent success of Southsea Food Festival, we are delighted to bring an authentic French market to Palmerston Road this Friday.  We hope many people will take the chance to pick up unique gifts and stock up on French food."
