Brewhouse and Kitchen Southsea Opening Day Announced
You may have noticed the goings on at the site of one of Southsea’s most iconic former pubs, Langtry’s. The new-look brewing pub in Southsea will now relaunch on 3rd December 2018, under its new name Brewhouse and Kitchen Southsea.
The public house, situated along Southsea Terrace, has recently been purchased by Brewhouse & Kitchen — you'll recognise the Brewhouse & Kitchen brand for their fantastic renovation of The White Swan in Guildhall Square, a site now over five years old.
Speaking with Team Locals, Group Director and Co-Founder Simon Bunn, said: “After our 5 years in Guildhall walk, we have responded to many requests to have our Brewpub in Southsea, we are so proud to bring this to fruition on the 3rd of December and look forward to welcoming many guests who have not visited us in Guildhall Walk.”
The group’s signature onsite brewing will be prominent with several large copper brewing kettles taking pride of place within the renovated pub. Nine unique brews will also be produced and available to customers including a beer with a nod to the premises’ old guise Langtry’s.
Another nice touch from the new team of Brewhouse and Kitchen Southsea has been the addition of the ‘for rent’ on an ad-hoc basis beach houses, set within the pub grounds, for business meetings, socials, or just hanging out with your squad.
Local Matt Chapman, previous landlord of The Marmion pub in Southsea, will be taking on the reins as site manager, bringing a wealth of experience and local knowledge alongside his team.
