Pompey Mascot Teams up With the Vet Practice
As a new season comes ever closer, new Pompey signings are at the front of people’s minds. This signing might not have been expected but it certainly is big news. Nelson, the Portsmouth Football Club mascot has signed a partnership with The Vet. The veterinary clinic which is due to open its doors in August promises to offer quality care at affordable prices and that is sure to put Nelson and his family of pups at ease for the 2018/19 campaign.
Adam Lea, Head of Commercial and Marketing at Pompey in the Community said: "This is fantastic news for the charitable arm of the football club. Nelson is a firm favourite amongst the Portsmouth community and this partnership with The Vet will mean that our canine’s welfare is maintained, but also collectively both organisations can work together to deliver exciting new initiatives throughout the 2018/19 season. This partnership will offer pet owners the opportunity to explore The Vet and the benefits that the clinic has in greater detail, something that we are only too happy to support."
The new clinic will open at the North Harbour site in August with Nelson set to make an appearance to get a pre-season check up.

The partnership will see Nelson and The Vet working together to offer bespoke events and initiatives to pet owners across the region in the coming months and Junior Blues members for the 2018/19 season will also be set to benefit as well.
