Southsea Bathing Hut launch new organic product range
Portsmouth-based natural skincare company Southsea Bathing Hut have launched a brand new organic product range.
The Pure Marine Bio Essence Collection comprises four products featuring seaweed paired with botanicals which grow wild on the coast of Portsmouth.
The collection includes the Bi Phase Make-Up Cleanser, Foaming Facial Cleanser, Complexion Water Toner, and Facial Treatment Oil.
Samantha Worsey, founder and director of Southsea Bathing Hut, explained: “This has been in the works for a long time. Around 18 months ago we first had the idea for a flagship collection of premium, organic products.
“We’ve been working on this complete facial care range ever since. Moving into our skincare lab in the Portsmouth Enterprise Centre in the spring of 2017 enabled us to take a big leap forward in developing the Pure Marine Bio Essence Collection.
“The Pure Marine Bio Essence Collection is all about bringing together the unrivalled skincare benefits of seaweed and botanicals. We unlock the powerful organic essence of the very best seaweeds, berries, seeds, plants, and flowers, to create superior benefits for your skin.
“Southsea Bathing Hut has always been about natural skincare inspired by seaside living. We create skincare experiences that are as restorative, refreshing, and reviving as a dip in the sea.
“The collection has been inspired by the coastline on our doorstep. Every product has our own unique blend of seaweed in it, which we formulated and produce at our skincare lab.
“As well being great for skin nutrition, our seaweed extract has toning, revitalising, moisturising and protective qualities.
“In each product, the seaweed is paired with beneficial botanicals which can be found growing locally in the wild.
“Across the collection, these include blackberries, elderflower, rosehip seeds, and nettle.
“Just like seaweed, each of these has excellent skincare properties. Combined in the right ways, they give your face the care it needs.”
