Southsea Fest returns for 2016, doubling in size
After a break in 2015, Southsea Fest is set to return to Portsmouth this autumn, doubling in size and spanning across 20 venues.
The multi-venue metropolitan music event will be marking its tenth anniversary with a line-up of over 100 local acts and a capacity of 6,000 ticketholders.
Some widely-loved and globally-renowned acts have graced the festival’s bill over the years, including Temples, Bastille, George Ezra, Django Django, Drenge, and Dry The River.
The focus, as always, will be on supporting the local music scene — performers and promoters alike — while also showcasing the best in emerging talent from the across the UK.
Taking a short hiatus last year allowed Southsea Fest organisers to evolve the event to double its size, with twice as many venues on board as ever before.
One of the new venue additions to the Southsea Fest programme is The Pyramids Centre on Southsea seafront.
Tickets for the festival, which returns to Portsmouth’s diverse platter of music venues on Saturday 1st October 2016, are £20.00 in advance, and are available online now »
As is the case each year, tickets allow access to every Southsea Fest venue.
The exciting line-up is set to drop soon. Like Southsea Fest on Facebook » and follow the event on Twitter » to stay in the know.
