Brewhouse & Kitchen Takeover The White Horse Inn, Southsea

Great news for fans of real ale, beer, and great food. Pub group Brewhouse and Kitchen, who started their business' journey in Portsmouth, have just purchased The White Horse Inn (formally Langtry's).

Speaking with Team Locals, Group Director and Co-Founder Simon Bunn, said: "5 years ago we opened the doors to our first Brewhouse and Kitchen. We've opened another 17 since then and have one more on site. We brew in every pub and are the largest Brewpub operator in the UK. Over 2 million pints have been brewed within the Brewpubs in the past five years. We have welcomed over 8000 people on our brewery experience days, 18,000 on our beer masterclass, and won some fantastic awards along the way."

The team plan to keep The White Horse operating as normal throughout the busy summer months, talking with locals and regulars during the period to discuss the future plans of the pub. In October renovations will commence with the build looking to be complete in early November 2018, ready for the festive season.
