Gunwharf Quays and Love Southsea announce Creatives Market
Gunwharf Quays and Love Southsea have announced the first ever Love Southsea Creatives Market at Gunwharf Quays. Launching in the Easter break on 16th April, the market will showcase the very best local talent, with traders showcasing everything from beautiful jewellery to clothing, artwork, photography, and crafts.
Love Southsea founder Lulu Whitmore is passionate about providing a platform for local traders, designers, and creatives. She said: “We are delighted to announce our first ever market in Gunwharf Quays. Some of the very best local traders will be joining us, giving Gunwharf Quays’ customers an opportunity to purchase unique products, created locally.
“Our market is as diverse as the city itself and we look forward to giving Gunwharf Quays’ customers an opportunity to purchase unique products including homewares, clothing and jewellery that were all created locally.”
Traders taking part in the event include Spott and Herbert, makers of hand printed clothes, stationary and jewellery. Currently stocked by the likes of Liberty of London, Gunwharf Quays’ customers will have the opportunity to get their hands on some truly unique pieces. Southsea Studio Photography will be showcasing a selection of locally-inspired prints and gifts, with Gnarly Tree offering sustainable fashion, designed locally, by hand, using oil free inks. There’s also a host of other creative traders with a wide variety of goods.

The Love Southsea Creative Market allows us to support local talent by creating a platform to showcase their goods to even more customers and develop their businesses.
“We have worked with the Love Southsea team to select some of our favourite creatives that we think customers at Gunwharf Quays will love. Who knows, perhaps we will be welcoming some of them back to the centre in the future with their own store!"
The Love Southsea Creative Market at Gunwharf Quays runs from 16th – 22nd April from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
